Stairs installed at Casino Point. Jenny and I dove Casino Point at Catalina in August, and had a great day of diving there. Clear water, warm sun, and calm conditions made the dives enjoyable, and now that there are concrete stairs leading right into the water, the diving is easier than ever. we have plans to go there again in October or November.

About this "poster" art...

The Desert Morays have been "challenged" to get in the water by those dam(p) Beach Divers that frequent Tony Wileys Scuba Locker in Riverside. In their last newsletter they included this cartoon.

They are, however, misguided in thinking we don't get wet. In August, our members have been diving in: Hawaii, Catalina, multiple sites in Laguna, La Jolla, and aboard the Peace around San Nicolas Islands. We have many dives planned for September, including an overnight hunting trip around Catalina Island. Lobster season opens in October, the water clarity is improving, and the opportunity to dive has never been greater. If you haven't gotten wet lately, come out and dive with us this month.
