NOVEMBER

Our next meeting will be on Thursday, November 11th, at 7:00 p.m. We will meet at the home of Mike Percival. If you need directions to his home you can e-mail me at:[email protected]

Getting to our website has just gotten easier.Just type "go.to/desertmorays" and you will be redirected to our site at fortunecity.com.The reason our site has such a long url is due to the way the host"cities" give out the free webspace. A direct domain name would cost us money that we don't need to spend. Using go.to is the next best thing to having our own domain name.Try it! The only "price" we pay for this service is the irritating advertising banner that appears at the bottom of the page.

I recently dove Catalina with a friend in his 26' motorboat. We arrived in Two Harbors the night before and anchored there, and dove the following morning. Our first dive was at Bird Rock, where we speared a few fish, saw some bat rays and a large school of barracuda. Visibility was good at 40'-50' and the water temperature was around 65. The second dive was near Eagle Reef, where we got a lot more fish. All in all, it was a great trip.Right now we are making plans for a return trip just as soon as we take care of some minor details.
