Desert Morays Dive Club : July

���� The Desert Moray Group and friends (19 in all) had a blast in Cozumel. Picture it... Three boat dives per day for four days, plus one 2 dive boat trip, plus a spectacular (though fast paced) night dive, plus a night snorkel adventure, plus swimming with dolphins, along with great restaurants, Mayan tours (namely Chichen Itza (or Temple of the well of Itza in Mayan)), warm blue waters of the Caribbean, great visibility, and friendly locals. And yes, we did see a turtle. This newsletter cannot begin to describe this trip. Please make it a point to attend the next meeting where we will be sharing a dive video, pictures, and memories of this wonderful trip. Now, if any of us can muster up the courage to go diving in the chilly waters of the Pacific...

���� The last meeting was held at the Snodgrass residence. Thank you Jim and Vicki for your hospitality. There will be a change of Venue for the next two meetings. The July meeting will be held at the Janecek residence : 28788 Campbell Ave., Moreno Valley, CA -- It will be held on Saturday, July 11, 1998. It will be a family barbecue -- please bring your own meat to grill -- we will provide dinnerware and beverages. It would also be helpful if everyone brought a side-dish to share. The BBQ will begin at 2 P.M and last till whenever. The August meeting will be held at the Snodgrass residence -- they will be hosting a "Buccaneer Days" festival at their home. More info will follow in the August newsletter. A map to the Janecek home has been provided for everyone's benefit.

���� A big thank you to Mike and Marty for the taxi-ing of persons to and from the airport. We all appreciate your efforts more than you'll know. Thanks also to Dudley and Rosemary for all their attention to detail and for providing us with a great dive trip.
