At this meeting we want to finalize plans on a weekend dive in August or September. It seems as if none of us can get into the water?!? Marty and I may be at Whites Point on Friday, August 13, 1999 or I may be diving Casino Point on that day with others. We would like to have a beach dive soon, maybe joining the Beach Divers on one of their excursions.

The Whitewater Rafting Adventure that the Desert Morays undertook last July was awesome! What a great trip! The Kern River was fast and cold, and it took us for a heart pounding , white knuckle, adrenaline rush down the many bends and rapids. Thank you Mike Percival for all the effort you put into coordinating this trip. All the people involved seemed to enjoy it greatly. Now next year we plan to?what? - Come out to the next meeting and help us decide our next "great adventure."

Some of us are seriously considering diving Whites Point this month (the Beach Divers went there August 7). Anyone interested in coming out to this dive, please call and let me know.
